Schoolyi ("we", "our") provides school management software. This policy describes how we handle information on our public website and within the school application when operated by your institution.
Public website
When you visit our marketing pages or submit a contact form, we collect the information you provide (name, email, school name, message) to respond to your inquiry. We use rate limiting to prevent abuse. Standard web server logs may record IP address and browser type.
School application data
Student, staff, and operational data entered in Schoolyi is controlled by the school that deploys the software. The school is the data controller for that information. Access is governed by role-based permissions and school policies.
Authentication
Signed-in users authenticate via secure sessions. Passwords are hashed; we do not store plain-text passwords. Schools provision accounts for staff and students as appropriate.
