Grade point average (GPA)
A numeric summary of a student’s academic performance - common in American K-12 and higher-education transcripts.
GPA systems assign point values to letter grades and may weight honors or AP courses differently. Transcripts accumulate credits over semesters or years.
School ERP platforms should support configurable grading scales and assessment types so registrars can produce term report cards and cumulative transcripts from the same gradebook.
