Admissions

Applicant usage guide

What a family does from first visit to first sign-in, written so an admissions office can hand it over as instructions: applying, paying, tracking, answering an offer, and what arrives afterwards.

Admissions guide for day and boarding schools.

Last updated August 29, 2026

A family never needs an account to apply. Everything up to enrolment runs on two public pages and one piece of information they must keep: the application number. Admissions offices can hand the sequence below to applicants more or less as it stands, and the one instruction worth repeating is to save the application number, because without it nothing else on this page is possible.

Applying

  1. Open /admissions/apply and choose the admission cycle from the list. Only cycles the school has opened appear, so if the expected one is missing, intake has not started or has closed.
  2. Complete the form and upload the required documents: birth certificate, Aadhaar document, and a photograph of the child, plus anything else the school has added to that cycle.
  3. Pay the application fee if the cycle has one. Until it is paid the application cannot be submitted, and an official receipt follows by email.
  4. Submit, then save the application number from the confirmation screen. The same number is emailed to the parent address.

Tracking and answering

Progress is visible at /admissions/track, unlocked with the application number, the parent email and the student date of birth. The same three facts unlock the other things a family can do without an account: downloading an admit card once an entrance test is scheduled, booking an interview slot where the school publishes bookable slots, and accepting or declining an offer. An offer can only be answered while it is still pending and before its acceptance deadline. The school also emails the parent address at each step — submission, test, interview, shortlist and offer — so a family that sees nothing should check the tracking page rather than assume nothing has happened.

Common questions

Quick answers in plain language.

What exactly does a family need to log a status check or answer an offer?+

Three matching facts, every time: the application number in the form APP-YYYY-NNNNN, the parent email address used on the application, and the student date of birth. There is no password and no account. If the parent email on the application was mistyped, only the admissions office can correct it.

The offer deadline has passed. Can the family still accept?+

No. Accepting after the acceptance deadline is refused and the offer is marked expired at that moment. The family has to contact the office, which can issue a fresh offer if a seat is still free. Note that a lapsed offer is only swept up automatically when the school has the daily job scheduled.

Will the parent email become the student login?+

No, and this catches families out. The guardian keeps that address for the parent portal, and the student account is given the student email from the application, or a synthetic address built from the registration number if none was supplied. A student on a synthetic address cannot receive email or use the email sign-in link.
