Homeroom class and co-class teachers mark daily attendance at /attendance (Present, Absent, Late). That daily register is the official product. Period marking at /attendance/period is experimental: it requires a published timetable slot, only the assigned (or covering) teacher can mark, and it never overwrites a homeroom mark. Admins can import historical rows via CSV. Marking a student Absent notifies linked parents in-app and by email (when enabled), with a deep link to the child’s attendance page.

  • /attendance - official homeroom register; teachers scoped to assigned class(es)
  • /attendance/period - experimental period marks (published slot + assigned teacher only)
  • Reports - default scope is homeroom; Unmarked means no daily mark (not Absent); period marks are a separate scope
  • CSV bulk import (admin) - columns date (yyyy-MM-dd), studentId, status (PRESENT|ABSENT|LATE), optional session (FULL_DAY default); up to 2000 rows per class
