Admissions auto-invite

When staff enroll an accepted offer at /admissions/enrollments, the system can create a Parent record, portal login, and welcome magic-link email from the application guardian fields (parent email required). Manual setup (Parents admin CRUD)

  1. Import or create parent user at /parents with Parent role and userType parent.
  2. Open parent detail → Link student - search by name, admission number, or class.
  3. Repeat for each child; one parent can link to multiple students.
  4. Send credentials or instruct parent to use magic link at /signin.
  5. Verify: parent signs in → child switcher shows linked students only.

Usage workflow (parent)

  • Sign in Parent tab (password or magic link) → /parent-dashboard.
  • Select child if multiple linked.
  • Quick actions: attendance, grades, homework, exams, timetable, syllabus (/parent/syllabus?childId=), leave (/student-leave?childId=&studentId=), fees (/fees/me?studentId=&childId=), transport live view (/parent/transport?childId=).
  • Notification taps use the same deep links (fee → /fees/me, absence → attendance with childId, transport with childId).
