Identity and school-wide configuration live under /users and /settings, and they sit underneath everything else. Fees, admissions and exams all assume the accounts, roles, grading scale and templates are already right, so work through these screens before rolling any of those out. User and role management is Platform Admin only; most settings screens open wider, to leadership and office administrators.
How far multi-school goes
One deployment can hold several schools, each with its own name, branding, settings, careers pages and website content, and the activity trail is scoped per school once more than one is active. That is the extent of it. A user belongs to at most one school; there is no membership table that would let one person work across two. Only Platform Admin can switch, using /settings/school-selector, and switching changes that administrator's own school assignment rather than opening a second context. Classes, academic years, fee structures, payroll and boarding records carry no school reference at all, so they are shared across every school on the deployment, and no report aggregates across schools.

Common questions

Can one administrator manage two schools at the same time?+
Not simultaneously. A user record holds a single school, and /settings/school-selector reassigns that value for the signed-in Platform Admin. There is no side-by-side context and no membership of several schools, so working across two means switching back and forth.
If two schools share a deployment, is their data separated?+
Only partly. Branding, settings, careers content and the website CMS are per school, and the activity trail is scoped once more than one school is active. Classes, academic years, fee structures, payroll and boarding records carry no school reference, so those are shared. Plan on one school per deployment unless you have checked that the modules you rely on are among the separated ones.
Is there a group-level or central-office report across campuses?+
No. Every report runs against one school. There is no consolidated view that rolls several schools into a single figure, so a group office comparing campuses has to export each school separately and combine the results outside the product.
